Christopher Hamlyn

Consultant Solicitor | Private Client Law

Christopher has been a qualified solicitor since 1977, specialising in Private Client law, including Wills and Probate Powers of Attorney Court of Protection Trusts and Taxation. His particular area of expertise is tax planning, where he has built a long-standing reputation for practical and effective advice.

He joined Wall James and Davies in 1984, became a Partner in 1985, and after decades of dedicated service, retired as a partner in October 2022. Christopher now continues to work three days a week as a Consultant, bringing a wealth of experience to the team.

Outside of work he enjoys antique collecting fishing walking and is a keen concert and theatre goer. An interesting fact—at 73 years old, Christopher is still working and thoroughly enjoys what he does.

He is a member of The Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) National Trust BADA (British Antique Dealers Association) and various antique trade associations as well as Leighton Angling Society.
